When I was in secondary school,I usually tried imaging how I will look like in the future.5 years pass over and there are many differences on me.Maybe it make some people get difficult to recognize me,but no matter what changes I get,I am me and there are both differences and similarities.
5 years ago and now I don’t have many differences,especially in my appearance.My hair is an example.It is still curly althought it is shorter a bit.There are many people advised me to stretch it out but I didn’t agree.I like it and I think it’s very special.However,there is one thing I want to change but I can’t.It is my color of my skin.It was dark and now it is still dark.Sometime,it make me feel less confident because most of people around me have fair skin.One more thing that haven’t changed is my optimist.I remember one time,I had an accident,my arm was broken.The doctor said that it took me 3 months to recover.Every one seemed to pity for me.They encouraged me to keep health,but I didn’t know why they must be pity.I thought that there’s no problem,just an broken arm,even I thought I could recover after 1 month.Actually,it’s impossible but this thinking helped me more optimistic,anyway it’s lucky because there were no part of my body was injured.
Despite the similarities,there are many differences.5 years is a long time for me to mature.Now,I am a student,I live far from my family and I must learn how to live independently,take care of my self,so my characteristic have changed a lot.I am no longer passive as I was in the secondary school.I take part in many social activities such as green summer,or activities of my class and faculty.It’s a good opportunity for me to make friends and be more confident.That’s why now I become more and more active,even talkative.However,what makes me really confuse is that I am shortsighted.When I was in secondary school,I studied very hard.I hardly went out except for going to school.Now,some days,I go out from 7a.m and come back at 9p.m.The days I don’t go out,I stay at my rent-house and watch films or read novels.I am very lazy in studying,so there’s no reason why I am shortsighted.The changes in my characteristic make me excited.It’s good for me,and I also hope that my eyes is not more serious shortsighted.
It is interesting to recognize how I have changed through 5 years.There are many differences from my appearance to characteristic.It makes me realize that I am muturing.Now,I am just 19 years old.In the future,there will be many other changes,and I will try to change my self in to a more perfect person.

Argument,counter argument and refutation
Wild animal should not be kept in the zoo
Argument 1:
Living condition in the zoo is not as good as natural environment.
In the zoo,wild animals are kept in narrow cages that are not swept and cleaned regularly.In addition,food is not enough for the developing of wild animals.
For example,a tiger can eat 27kg meat per day,but in the zoo,people can’t supply much meat like that.
The most important thing is that animals also need freedom,so natural enviroment is the most suitable place for them
Argument 2:
Keeping wild animals in the zoo is very dangerous.
The cage,especially cage for dangerous animal,is not enough safe.In some zoos,the cages are just surrounded 4 sides.In above,there are nothing to prevent the animals to escape from cages.It’s very dangerous if one of animals escape from the cage,he or she can attack any one because there are always many people in the zoo.In media transportation usually have some news about wild animals attack people.
For example,in Dai Nam,Thu Dau Mot,Binh Duong province,there were a case that tiger killed a zoo keeper and injured another one.
Counter argument:
Many people have argued that keeping wild animals in the zoo is a way to preserve them from extinction as well as to maintain rare animals race.
Refutation:

should parents spank their children?
There are many different ways to educate children but it is sure that parents just spank children when there is no way because no one want to hurt their children.Some people say that “spare the rob and spoil the child”,but I think that parents should not use spank as a punishment for children.
People should not spank their childrend for many reasons.First,It cause many bad effects on children,especially when they are young.In this age group,children don’t have much perception.They absolutely believe in what they are studied from teachers as well as parents,so if they are spanked whenever they do something wrong,it can make them scare,don’t dare to do anything and live closely.It is really not good for a young children.In addition,because of scaring,they will study how to tell lie.Unintentionally,parents make children learn a bad habit instead of educating them to become better and better.One more effect is that it make a distance in relationship between parents and children.Young children like to talk with their mother and father,but spank can make them scare and don’t wan to share feeling and any thing with parents.It will be difficult for parents to understand as well as educate children.
Using spank as a punishment is really not good for not only young children but also pubescence.It cause bad behavior of children.In this age,there are many changes in their psychology.When they were young,spank maybe make them scare and obey,but pubescent age is different.They trend to rebel,so using spank to educate them is useless,even it can make them hate instead of respect parents.It’s more serious if they are spanked in front of their friends or strangers because it harms their self-respect.More over,in this age,children are easy to be influented by living environment and usually immitate what adult do,so spank can make children become violent,and when this children grow up,they will be burden of society.

what invention do you think is the most important?why?
The appearance of internet brings many benefits for student.First of all,in education,internet is a various information sourse.It is very easy for student to find any document,material or subject for studying via electronic libraries or websites.Nowadays,all of Universities,companies or organizations have website,so finding information becomes faster and more accurate.You just type the key word and wait some minutes,there are many addresses for you to choose.Besides,studying online is becoming popular.you don’t need to study after class or go to school everyday.There are still teacher,exercise,exam but you stay at home and sit in front of screen,Internet will help you to study like in class.It’s an effective way to study but cheap and convenient.

descriptive essay
I like blue and may be that’s why I like sea.Because i don’t have many opportunities to go to the beach,I decides to collect every thing relating to sea.My collection has many things such as shells,snail shells,books about sea,pictures and some postcards of my friends sent from their visit to beach,ect.I like all of them,but one I like best is a sea painting.
This painting is very special.It’s one of the most favorite presents that i received in 18th birthday from a close friend.One thing makes it more special is that my friend painted it by himself,which makes me really be moved.
It’s a big present with retangle shape,about 45cm x 60cm.The painting is surrounded by a beautiful wood frame which is decotated carefully by images of pebble and star fish.The first time I saw this painting,when I took off the wrapping of the present,I couldn’t recorgnize what is it about because it painted a scene of sea in near distance.But ,when I looked at it carefully,I saw a beautifull sight-seeing.There are blue of water,white of foam from waves lapping against the grey-green stones in shore.In far distance,fog hover over sea surface and some white sailling boats are shrouded in mist.I hardly see the sky because of fog.It looks like a winter morning sea painting.This painting is simple but impressive because of hamonious color and close composition.They make people who see it have lively feeling like being stand in front of sea,breathing cool air of morning and hearing sound of wave.
Although this painting isn’t a famous work.It wasn’t also make by a profession artist,it’s very meaning for me.This painting always will be the most wonderful present in my collection
